Primrose has an amazing head with large wide-set eyes and a teacup muzzle. She has a long, graceful neck, straight legs, high tail carriage and good conformation. Primrose moves with a floating trot and has the people loving, “live in in the tent”, personality one looks for in an Arabian.
Primrose has been trained by Charlie Waymire. Charlie uses natural horsemanship techniques and was in the saddle and riding trails within two weeks. She is beautiful under saddle and enjoys being out on the trail. She has very nice movement and a good head for riding. She is intelligent and willing to learn.
Sire: Primrose's sire is *Shahir who is by Dr. Nagel's exotic Salaa El Dine and has *Pharrah as his tail-female. He was the leading Straight Egyptian Juvenal Sire among all bloodlines as ranked by the Arabian Horse Times research for 1999-2000. Consistently Ranked among halter sires at the Egyptian Event by percentage of winners as researched by Arlene Magid every years since he was imported. 100% of his foals shown at The Egyptian Event are Top Ten or better! Shahir is an excellent individual with exceptional size, quality, intelligence and athletic ability. He is big and bold, but also has the ethereal refinement of the classic desert Arabian. His foals are wonderful. They are tall, stretchy and charismatic with his trademark features: a typey head with huge eyes; beautiful small ears and tiny muzzle; long upright neck; smooth body; perfect long legs and lots of attitude, trot and tail. Additionally, his foals are exceptionally calm, intelligent and trainable.

Anhar traces back to the wonderful mare Rodania. Amarela al Badi is a direct tail female descendant of the mare Rodonia. Rodania's granddaughter Riyala was described by Lady Anne Blunt as “Truly magnificent” . Her daughter, Bint Riyala was purchased by the RAS along with 19 horses. These horses played a great role in the development of the modern Egyptian breeding program. Bint Riyala and Bint Rissala are today the only source of Kuhaylan Rodonia blood in straight Egyptian bloodlines.
